Good morning everybody! welcome back to war! Let me resume this ...Saddam Hussein had (lots..of types) a bomb of 400kg called nasser 28. This bomb was cased with 2 curies (not microcuries!!!) of zirconium 89. Actually zirconium oxide is used as alloy to protect nuclear fuel rods, and that's the usual source of Zr89 radioactive label . But, that was not the way Saddam got his hands on high radioactive Zr89! Saddam got himself on the Mutahna 3 research center (destroyed in 1992) this gear where he produced, himself, the Zr89. As far as I understand, this equipment is so (i would say...) easy to get..that of course the iranians lost a lot of money and resources unnecessary, to get what Saddam had so easily; and this is also means, any actor, business, para military anti system agent, even an amateur can get 2 curies.
