So again, a little chat about red mercury or dimethyl mercury ....as you know mercury can be radioactive....the so called mercury (II) acetates are highly radioactive, several scientists have die even with lab gloves by touching the substance, which is obtained by pyrolysis method ....while at this point, nobody is worried :) next thing I'm going to say, will worry everybody! In fact there's a substance called phenylmercuric acetate (powder) (you can buy it on the pharmacy...) which is as toxic as dimethylmercury, used as a rat insecticide, but if in touch or vapoured in humans, it kills in 2 weeks.
