MADELEINE McCANN AND RUSSIA

The hunt for Madeleine McCann 'has switched to Russia and the Ukraine', after 'a confession from pedophile Raymond Hewlett that she could be in Russia or the Ukraine'.

 Raymond Hewlett

Hewlett - who died three years ago from cancer - is reported to have told his son that he knew who had abducted Madeleine in 2007.

 Malinka from Russia

"Inconsistencies in Sergey Malinka's account of his relationship with Robert Murat emerged: 'he had said he had not contacted Murat in a year but Murat’s mobile phone records allegedly show he called Mr Malinka at 23:40 on the night Madeleine went missing.' [36][37]

"Friends of the McCanns stated 'that they saw Murat outside the holiday complex on the night of the disappearance when he had stated that he was at home with his mother.'"

Disappearance of Madeleine McCann - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"In its edition dated August 7, 2007 the digital magazine Variedadpublished a report featuring information on Sergey Malinka and his relationship with Robert Murat.

"According to the report, Sergey Malinka has a criminal background related to paedophilia, and his relationship with Robert Murat is based on common business interests connected to child trafficking, on behalf of international organisations with presence in Portugal and involved in this highly lucrative criminal enterprise."

Victoria Yanyko is from the Ukrainian Missing Persons Association.

 She says that:

'A representative of the family contacted us and we made a special, Russian language, leaflet to spread with the intention of finding this girl who went missing six years ago at the age of four.

'We've distributed it in the Ukraine and in Russia, thanks to our Russian colleagues.

'A representative of the family contacted us after they got information from a dying man who said he took part in abducting Maddy and that she might be in this area.'

Malinka's car

"Computer expert Sergey Malinka, 22, an associate of official suspect Robert Murat, woke up to discover the smouldering Audi A4 close to his flat in Praia da Luz, the Algarve resort where Madeleine went missing last May.

"Sprayed in red paint on the pavement next to it was 'fala', Portuguese for 'speak'."

Sergey Malinka - 12 May 2009

"On 2 May in an article about Madeleine McCann's disappearance we mentioned that Robert Murat phoned an unnamed
computer specialist, who some readers may recognise as Mr Sergey Malinka, and that the telephone call wrongly caused suspicion to fall on Mr Murat.

"We have been asked to make clear that Mr Malinka, whose only connection with Mr Murat was a professional one, did not speak to Mr Murat that night and neither had any connection with Madeleine's disappearance. We apologise for any misunderstanding."
