...let me start by saying that academic information about gallium arsenide does not clear refers, on purpose, the atomic number 67 . On the old soviet encyclopedia, however, some very interesting comment , says that "Gallium is obtained from such solutions by electrolysis on a mercury cathode" , that put me wondering...red mercury (the old mystery) ? definitely, gallium arsenide is radioactive. So, any doubt, use a geiger counter. Common use of gallium arsenide, are, our beloved fiber optics cables .. and semi conductor crystals, on all CPU's. For sale here :
